About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join our network of opportunities across the UK. This role involves welding metal components to precise specifications using MIG and TIG techniques, working on a variety of projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality workmanship. You will play a key role in fabricating and assembling components while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a MIG/TIG Welder.
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques on various materials (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Skilled in preparing, positioning, and welding components to specifications.
- Experience using workshop equipment (e.g., grinders, drills, saws).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Safety-conscious, reliable, and flexible.
Preferable Skills:
- Experience in welding thin-gauge materials or bespoke fabrications.
- Familiarity with robotic welding systems.
- Knowledge of post-weld inspection processes (e.g., NDT).
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Previous work in high-precision or industrial environments.
